V-Day manis! Day 5: Cutesy Polkadots and Bows

Good Afternoon Lovelies!

I'm sorry this post is so late!  (I know Andrea...I'm apologizing, again!)

Our 4Runner's clutch decided it was going to go to the junkyard in the sky on Tuesday, just in time for the snowstorm that hit this morning!  Oh Joy!
So, we went into work for 2 hours so I could gather stuff to finish my work at home today.  We made it within a few hundred feet of our driveway, just at the point when our road starts sloping down.  Poo!  We slid, not fun, went into the snow on the side of the road.  We got out with the help of some renters up the road, and finally made it into the driveway.   So yay for adventures!  LOL  and lesson learned...stock tires are WAY better than the wide, low profiles my Civic is currently sporting!

Anyway...On to today's mani.  It's cutesy, and it's also slightly pin-upy, at least I think so.

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze "China Rogue".

Then I stamped the bow design on M56, using Black special polish.

Then I used a toothpick to make dots using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri "Whirlwind White".

This is a mani I have done before.  Usually I stamp on the polka dot tip design from M45 using the White special polish, then stamp the bow design using the Black special polish.  But this time I did it as stated above.  I actually like it better with the two stamps, but here it is:
Also reminds me of Minnie Mouse!

Well that's all for today my lovely readers!

Have a great weekend!

Oh and thanks for the suggestion about the design smearing! I'll try that next time I use the special polish to stamp with!

Definitely pin-upy, and I think it doubles as rockabilly too, like Toxin said! And gorgeous, of course :)

So sorry for the car going to the junkyard heaven. Glad your allright after that slide. That always scares the hell out of me. This is one manicure for Minnie Mouse. I love it! Very rockabilly. I could just see this with a nice cute pin up outfit. Hate this snow. Looks beautiful and I don't have to drive in it but still it's a mess. We we're really socked with it. The bad thing about living in an apartment complex is all of the snow has nowhere to go when it's being cleared. What a mess.
