China Glaze Up & Away Review

Good Morning Lovelies!

Today I have 2 polishes to show you from the China Glaze Up & Away Collection.

Let's dive right in shall we?

Peachy Keen

2 coats(I think)
As much as I wanted to like this color, I think it's a touch too far on the orange side to go with my skin tone.  I think if it was just a bit more pink it would be ok.
I may add a bit of the next color to it and see if I can't make it work.

Sugar High

2 coats(again, I think)
This one I liked!
Such a nice fresh pink.  Even though it has a touch of coral to it, I think it's small enough to not clash horribly and make me look like the undead!

This collection is what I've been craving for spring!  I'm just disappointed that I wasn't sent more.  I am so in love with this collection, I will be ordering the other shades before long!

Great job China Glaze!  Keep up the good work!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

If all goes well tomorrow, I'll have something fun to show you all next week.
But don't worry, I'll show you whether it turns out right or not!

Braggin', My V-Day Koni and Lotsa Contests!

Good Morning Lovelies!

First of all I just gotta brag a bit.  Have I told you all just how awesome my little sister is?  This girl is INCREDIBLE!  She is Super sweet, Creative, Talented, Kind-hearted, and so incredibly smart it hurts my head to read some of the things she is studying.  She is practically fluent in Spanish as well as Arabic, and knows some French and Italian too!  And did I mention she's Beautiful to boot?  The main reason for my braggin' today is that I learned that she just made the Dean's List!  Cassie, hun, I am so incredibly proud of you!

Ok...on to the Konadicure...
I know I know...."You're just NOW getting around to showing us your Valentine's Day Mani???"  Sadly yes!  I figured I'd hold off and show you the Rebel Debutante Collection first, since I wore one of the colors as that koni.

This started with Color Club "Ms Socialite".  I think it was 2 coats.
(note to self...take better notes!)

Next I stamped the design on M64 that always reminds me of India, using special polish in black.

Ok, on to the contests....in no particular order:
Diana at Painted Lady Fingers is having a ManGlaze giveaway!  I want these things so bad I can't stand it!  Click HERE to check 'em out!

April and Ashley of Concrete and Nail Polish are having a Follower Appreciation Giveaway!  So many fun things included, go check it out HERE.

Michele of Lacquerized is having a 250 follower celebration giveaway!  And boy are the prizes GORGEOUS!  Just LOOK!

KONADomania is having an awesome giveaway that includes a gift certificate to O.C. Nailart!  AWESOME!!!  Go Check it out HERE.

Well my wonderful readers, that's it for today!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Color Club Rebel Debutante Review

Good Morning Lovelies!

Today I have my review of Color Club's Rebel Debutante Collection!

I woulda had this WAY sooner, but in my haste to get out to door in time for our dinner reservation (I swatched these on Valentine's day) I Konaded over the last swatch before taking pics!  GRRR   So I had to wait til this weekend and redo that swatch!

Now, before I start in with the pics I gotta apologize.  Had I posted this last week I woulda remembered exactly how many coats I had to apply of each, but now a week later I cant remember!  I do know they were all 2 or 3 coaters.  Lets get started shall we?

All swatches are just the polish, no base or top coat.

"Who Are You Wearing?"
I really like this color!  It's a slightly mushroomy off white.
Reminds me of the inside and stem color of Crimini Mushrooms!

"High Society"

Another one I like alot!  This is a greyish mushroomy color!
The streakiness you see in the pic is totally user error.
Since I was applying this with my left hand, it didn't go on as nicely as I would have liked.
I noticed every time I used my left hand to paint it was streaky that day.

"Best Dressed List"

Do I have to say it again...yes I like this one alot too!
Pretty nude shade!  Reminds me of the color of "tan" pantyhose.
You can see this Konaded over HERE.

"Charity Ball"

This I'm not so crazy about.  It's rusty brownish orange.  I've said it before and I'll say it again...Orangey colors do not look good on me!  The yellowish/olivey undertones in my skin just clash with the color so bad, not to mention It makes me look almost albino!

"Ms. Socialite"

So Pretty!  Purplish magenta!

"She's Sooo Glam"

Sorry about the scratch in this!
I don't remember who did it but I saw a pic of the bottom of the bottle and it said "She's Sooo Glam", mine however simply says "She's So Glam"  Wonder if there is a difference in formula?  I have heard a few complain about streakiness, but I didn't experience that.  Pretty girly pink!
This one I do remember, it's 2 coats!

"Uptown Girl"

An almost dusty Mauve-ish lavender.  So pretty!

"Gossip Column"

Probably my absolute favorite of the collection!
Rich, deep teal!  So very deliciously awesome!

"Rebel Debutante"

Again, the streakiness is user error more than polish issues I think.
By this time I was worn out and rushing at the same time, so I could finish and get ready to go out.

I really really liked this collection...alot!  Only 1 that I didn't like do to skin tone clashing.
Formula was a touch thick on a few, but certainly manageable when doing a regular mani and not rushing through swatching!  I'm sure a few drops of thinner would fix it right up, but it wasn't worrisome enough for me to bother.
This collection reminds me more of fall than spring from some reason.  Probably due to the neutral and dusty colors.  That doesn't make it any less pretty though.  I guess it's just a brain defect for me, when I think Spring, I think robins egg blue, lavender, sunny yellow, white, bubblegum pink, etc.  But I know if every company released those colors for Spring, I'd probably be bored!
I also know that this was intended to be more of a Winter/Early spring collection, so I totally dig it as a winter collection!  Spring and Late Spring/Summer collections will be released by Color Club very soon, so stay tuned!

Well, my wonderful readers, that's it for the day.

I hope you have a good one!

Rebel Debutante Konadicure

Good Morning Lovelies!

Tomorrow I'll be bringing you my review of the Rebel Debutante collection.  So I thought I'd get you guys in the mood with a little konadicure fun!

I started this mani with 2 coats of "Gossip Column" on all fingers except the ring fingers.

Then I painted my ring fingers with 2 coats of "Ms. Socialite".

Next, I broke out the Konad and stamped a design from M70 using black special polish.

I rather like the look of the accent nail and other nails covered with the same pattern!
I know, short and sweet post today.
I hope you guys have a fantastic day!

Diamond Cosmetics Spring 2010 Collection Review

Good Morning Lovelies!

When I walked outside this morning, I realized it was a bit warmer than it has been!  I took a nice deep breath of the fresh air, it smelled like spring!  That nice fresh clean smell of new life coming!  This makes me so incredibly happy I just don't know what to do!

So how appropriate that today I have the new spring collection from Diamond Cosmetics to show you!

I'll go by the order they list them on my info sheet I received with the collection.

First up is #347 "Gypsy Pink"
What Diamond Cosmetics says:
"Gypsy Pink is a soft red loaded with white/pink shimmer, as mysterious as the woman who wears it"

What I say:
This is a pink toned red, so much so that I had a hard time deciding if it was really deep pink or red.  It has a very heavy pink and silver/white shimmer that is just gorgeous.  I really like this color!
This is 2 coats, but with very careful application, I coulda gotten away with 1!

#348 "Hot Lips"

What Diamond Cosmetics says:
"Hot Lips is a bright, almost neon magenta.  This color shouts "Spring is here"

What I say:
Bright, almost neon magenta...spot on!  This is 1 of my 2 favorites from this collection.  It dries to a satiny finish,  not quite matte like a neon, but not shiny either.  SO PRETTY!  Rob loved this one!
This is 2 coats, but as you can see, I mighta could have used 1 more, however, the slight see thru spots you see in the pic could not be seen in reality.

#349 "Serendipity"

What Diamond Cosmetics says:
"Serendipity is a pale blue-grey with shimmer.  This chic color is definitely not lacking"

What I say:
Perfect description, blue grey.  Reminds me of rainy spring skies!  That pretty blue-grey of the spring clouds.
The shimmer they touch on is a white shimmer, and is super pretty without being over-powering.
This is 2 coats.

#350 "Razzmatazz"

What Diamond Cosmetics says:
"Razzmatazz is a dainty pink that will blow you away with its pink and purple toned shimmer"

What I say:
This pic shows it a bit bright, it's more of a dusty mauve base.  There is definitely pink and purple shimmer bits when you look closely!  Add to that a pinkish-purple flash and it's very cool and very original!  Like demure, but totally not!
This was either 2 or 3 coats, I didn't write it down, sorry!

#351 Orange Blush

What Diamond Cosmetics says:
"Orange Blush is a soft orange creme, perfect for a tropical getaway or a Sunday brunch"
What I say:
This is definitely not a creme, and very much a jelly!  I LOVE the jelly finish on this one!  I wish the pic captured the squishyness of this polish!  While this polish was my least favorite in the collection, it was only because I'm not a huge orange fan.  I think it looks funny with my skin tone.  The color however is pretty, a slightly pink toned orange, but no where near peach.
This was 3 coats, but oddly, my pinky needed 4.  All you natural nail girls, would probably need 4 to get rid of nail-lines.

#352 "Tranquility"

What Diamond Cosmetics says:
"Tranquility looks like the clear blue sky.  A perfect name for this tranquil color"
What I say:
More like Robin's egg blue!  This is my other FAV of the collection!  This color makes me smile, it's just so cheerful and happy! It has a slight aqua tint, which is why I think it's more robin's egg and less sky blue.  Bright yet almost pastel with no hint of dusty or smokiness!  This is GORGEOUS!
This is 2 coats, but if I has been more careful I coulda gotten away with 1!

Ok, wrap-up time!
This collection rocks!  My only negative feeling (which is more like a "meh" feeling) on the whole thing is that the first two colors, Gypsy Red and Hot Lips feel more summer to me than spring.  Only because to me Spring is all about clean, pastel, and slightly bright cheery colors.  Those two are super hot and are to me, alittle more summery.  They are all so pretty though and consistency and application ROCKED!  Seriously...Rebel Debutante, which you will see in a few days, gave me a little grief with the application(user error?), and these were all so smooth!  And at $2.25 per bottle...these things ROCK!

Want some of your own?  Click HERE to go grab 'em up!

I hope you all have a great day!

Question, for all my readers

Well, Good Morning My Lovelies!

Long time, no talk!

Things are still crazy, but I wanted to post a quick question so I can do a bit of planning this weekend.

See in 2 weeks we will be heading to Columbus Ohio.  What for you may ask...well, I'll fill you all in next week!

But this trip to a "city" gives me a rare oppertunity to visit stores not found in my neck of the woods.  So here is my question....

What stores do you all go to, to buy polish?
I mean I have a Sephora within a hour drive, and a Sally's, CVS, Rite, ect here, but name some others!
I know I've heard people mention outlet type stores that sell mostly fragrances and beauty stuff, but cant remember the names!  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you all!
I will be back in the saddle next week with some fun stuff to show ya!

Have a great weekend!

Sneak Peak on an Upcoming Post

Good Morning Lovelies!

I just wanted to make a brief post and let everyone I'd probably be m.i.a. for the rest of the week.  Just WAY too much to do and not nearly enough time to do it.  So I figured I'd take alittle mini vacation from posting, since that will take a bit of stress off.

But, before I disappear, I wanted to show you all the little beauties I received from Diamond Cosmetics yesterday....

May I present, the Spring 2010 Collection:

SOOOO pretty!!!
Look for a review on these early next week.  Well, as long as I can find some sun this weekend!

Have a great week everyone!

V-Day manis! Day 10: Pink & Black, another Contest, and the bestest Mom ever!

Good Morning Lovelies!

Today's mani if the one I am currently sporting!  It's a few of my favorite things all together!  Funky French, Black and Pink, and Chrome over Black!

Buckle in, this sounds WAY more complicated than it was!

First I did 1 coat of a franken blush color and topped that with 1 coat of Diamond Cosmetics "Sweet as Sugar", a slightly pink polish packed with iridescent micro glitter.

Then I applied hole reinforcements to all the nails except the thumb.  For the thumb I had to use a traditional french guide, since my thumbs are so wide.

I then painted Wet & Wild "Black Creme" on the tips of 1 hand and immediately took off the reinforcements.  If you don't take them off immediately, while the polish is still wet, you will not get a crisp line, cause as you remove the reinforcement, the polish sticks to it and pulls off a bit.  I then repeated this on the other hand.  I still have a bit of issue here and there with the polish pulling, but found i could clean it up a bit by pushing it back into place using the edge of my Konad scraper.

Then I reapplied reinforcements, yes, I know, lotsa steps!

Then stamped the overlapping hearts tip design from M73, using Pure Ice "Outrageous" my go to pink chrome.

Oddly, my camera hated me last night, and refused, no matter which setting, I used, and how many times I adjusted the white balance, to show the stamp as a pink color.  Here is the closest I could convince it to go:

To see this same pink chrome accurately, click HERE to go to a picture of a mani I posted here a while back.

Next!
I forgot a Contest Yesterday!!!

Make sure you run, like now, over to On Beauty and Polish and check our the lovely prize she's giving away very soon!  Seriously...is there anything better than a bunch of random polishes?  I think not!  Click HERE to go check it out!!!

Oh, btw, Have I told you all I have the bestest Mom EVER????  Our laptop, which is only 4 years old, decided it had had enough, and went to laptop heaven Wednesday Morning.  Mom to the rescue!  When she discovered she couldn't fix it, she decided that she'd just have to get us an early Birthday Present!  We have a new, MACK DADDY laptop!  so yeah THANK YOU MARMIE!!!!  You're the BEST!!!

Well guys, that concludes the Valentine's Day Mani's!

I hope you all have a Fantastic weekend!

V-Day manis! Day 9: Pink Tie-Dye? And Lotsa Contests!

Good Morning Lovelies!

I have a TON of info to share, so let's dive right in shall we?!?!

First is today's mani for you all.

For this I started out with 1 coat of Color Club "She's So Glam"

Then, once that was dry, I went back and added thick strokes of 3 different colors, depending on what design I was going for (you'll see what I mean in a second!)  The 3 colors I used were Color Club "She's So Glam" as my light pink, a darker pink franken, and a Sinful Colors white polish, that I dont have the name of, but any white will work.
I then used a metal Dental pick and swirled back and forth across the lines where two different colors met.

Excuse the wear, this was taken after a few days, once I finally had sun!
Rob, bless his heart, did my right hand for me!  But I forgot that pic at home.
He did a great job!!!

On to the Contests.....

V-Day manis! Day 8: Purple Hearts

Good Afternoon Lovelies!

Are we all tired of the pink and red girly Valentine's Day manis yet?
Wanna see soemthing a touch different?

GOOD!

For this little beauty I started out with a coat of Wet & Wild Black Creme.

Then I broke out Konad plate M59 and using China Glaze "Harmony", I stamped the heart cluster along the cuticle edge.

Just to see what alittle more would look like, I also stamped the overlapping hearts from the center of the plate, at the top of 2 nails.
I think I like it better without, but, at least you can see what a variation would look like.

I really liked this one.
There is just something magical about chrome stamps over black.
Expect to see alot more!  I am bitten by the bug!

That's it for today my wonderful readers!

Have a great day!

V-Day manis! Day 7: 2, 2, 2 Fails in One...Post!

Good Morning Lovelies!

Today I decided to get the two fail manis out of the way so for the rest of the week we can just focus on the pretty!

First up, is the Musical Roses Redo that I promised.

It isn't so much of a fail as a " I was lazy and didn't do it properly"

This time I started with a base of 2 coats of Diamond Cosmetics "Diamond's Diamonds"
Then I stamped the rose on, trying out various colors for the rose. (I'll differentiate under the pic).
I then added 1 coat of top coat to make sure the tape int he next step didn't peel off the rose!
Then I Stamped the rose image on tape, cause I didn't have any labels.  And cut it out.  Then stuck them on and stamped the music over it with Special polish in Black, and peeled the tape off.
The fail part is that since scotch tape is so fragile, I didn't cut very close like I should have.  If I would have cut as close as I could have if I had labels, I think this would have looked awesome.  But it didn't, Here, take a look for yourself:

Ok, Rose Colors....
The stem was Zoya "Veruschuka" on all roses
Rose was:
Index: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri "Pronto Purple"
Middle: Zoya "Harlow" (This was next to impossible, it dries too quick)
Ring: Special Polish in "Wine Red"
Pinkie: Special Polish in "Red"

Oh well....Moving on to the next fail!!!

I wanted to revisit the whole 2 colors mixed on a stamp deal.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze "GR8" a Gold Holo from the OMG collection!
Then on M63, I dropped China Glaze "Harmony", a purple chrome, and Pure Ice "Outrageous", a pink chrome.  This looked great....until I added top coat.
GRRRRRR
The holo completely vanished, and usually does until the top coat dries, but not this time!  It never came back!
Then the pink chrome almost disintegrated, for lack of a better word.  It was very noticeable, until the top coat, then it just all but disappeared!  I figured I'd show you the pictures regardless, since it might spark an idea for someone!

See the more faded parts?  That's where the pink used to be!
I shoulda used the Hot Pink Holo instead!

Oh well, hindsight is 20/20!

Well my wonderful readers, that's it for today.
At least we have all the ugliness behind us and can just look forward to the pretty!

I hope you all have a great day!

V-Day manis! Day 6: "Wandering Roses"

Good Morning Lovelies!

Wow, whata weekend!  It was -7 this morning!  It was so cold, I experienced 2 things I never had before!  The first was that my passenger side door's lock was frozen!  not the door, the lock, so I had to crawl across my car to get in this morning!  The second thing I wouldn't have believed if I hadn't experienced it myself!  We were in, Rob gave the car some gas to get going, and nothing.  We weren't slipping, weren't spinning, nothing.  He gave it some more and POP!  My tires were FROZEN to the ice in the driveway!  Yes!  So much so, he really had to give it some gas to break it free!  I was shocked!

Ok, anyway, on to today's mani!

I wasn't very thrilled with the thought of this but I knew it was Valentine'sy so I did it...and LOVED IT!

I started out with 2 coats of China Glaze "Stella"(why have I not used this before it's GORGEOUS).
Next, I broke out plate m65.
I dotted Pure Ice "Outrageous", a pink chrome, over the roses, and covered the vines in China Glaze "Passion", a gold chrome.
This looked so much better in person than in this pic!  the pink and gold stood out WAY better:

See?  It's hard to see what's gold and whats pink.  It wasn't in reality!

Well my wonderful readers, that's it for today!

I hope you have a fantastic day!  Stay Warm!!!

V-Day manis! Day 5: Cutesy Polkadots and Bows

Good Afternoon Lovelies!

I'm sorry this post is so late!  (I know Andrea...I'm apologizing, again!)

Our 4Runner's clutch decided it was going to go to the junkyard in the sky on Tuesday, just in time for the snowstorm that hit this morning!  Oh Joy!
So, we went into work for 2 hours so I could gather stuff to finish my work at home today.  We made it within a few hundred feet of our driveway, just at the point when our road starts sloping down.  Poo!  We slid, not fun, went into the snow on the side of the road.  We got out with the help of some renters up the road, and finally made it into the driveway.   So yay for adventures!  LOL  and lesson learned...stock tires are WAY better than the wide, low profiles my Civic is currently sporting!

Anyway...On to today's mani.  It's cutesy, and it's also slightly pin-upy, at least I think so.

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze "China Rogue".

Then I stamped the bow design on M56, using Black special polish.

Then I used a toothpick to make dots using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri "Whirlwind White".

This is a mani I have done before.  Usually I stamp on the polka dot tip design from M45 using the White special polish, then stamp the bow design using the Black special polish.  But this time I did it as stated above.  I actually like it better with the two stamps, but here it is:
Also reminds me of Minnie Mouse!

Well that's all for today my lovely readers!

Have a great weekend!

V-Day manis! Day 4: A Musical Fail :(

Good Morning Lovelies!

Today's Konadicure is a big fat FAIL.  But...I thought I'd show you anyway and give you an idea I just had on how to make it work!  First, the fail...

I started with the Franken blush color I use for my frenches and applied 1 coat.

Next I stamped on the musical design from M73, using Special Polish in Black.

I wanted to stamp a rose on top of this using fauxnad plate K01 (there is an almost identical rose on Konad M25, but I don't have that plate).  I used Special polish in Red to do this stamp on my pinky first, and discovered it was too translucent.  So I then tried stamping with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Pronto Purple, and nope, still too translucent.  At this point it was late and I just wanted to be done, so I took it off and redid my nails with my planned koni and went to bed.  So first...the carnage:

Sorry, I was so bummed out, I didn't even clean up prior to taking the pics.

Now, my idea.  I'll do this this weekend to see if it works for ya.  I'm thinking I should stamp the Rose first, then stamp the Rose image in an address label and cut it out and stick it over the rose.  Then go back and stamp the Music pattern.  I think that might work!

That's it for now my Lovely Readers!

Have a great day!!!

V-Day manis! Day 3: French Roses

Good Morning Lovelies!

I hope you are all well today!  I wanted to take a second and address 2 things, before we get to today's mani...

1 - when I started this blog, I prided myself on responding to each and every one of my comments.  I thoroughly enjoyed doing it too!  Unfortunately, time has not been my friend the past few months.  And it doesn't look like it's going to get any better soon.  Work is jam packed full, and more keeps being added to my plate.  As it is, I am just barely finishing the tasks I have to do on a monthly basis, in time to start the following months "chores".  After work is about the same.  I wish I could survive on 2 hours sleep, cause then I might be able to fit in everything that I need to do on a daily basis. So, all that to say I am very very sorry.  I read and enjoy each and every one of your sweet comments!  I also visit all of your blogs, I just don't get to comments as much as I like.

2 - Lacquered Lizard had said that she's having trouble pasting into her blog.  Hun, me too!  But I found the solution...I think.   The only way I have been able to paste into the blog post is to get my cursor where I want to paste, and then hitting the space bar a few times.  Then, click and drag over the spaces you just made to highlight them, and then do the whole, right click, paste.  That's been working for me, so hopefully it will work for you.

OK...For today's mani I did something simple with just a touch of decoration.

I started out with 1 coat of a franken blush polish.  Then added 1 coats of Diamond Cosmetics "Sweet as Sugar", which is a iridescent glitter in a slightly peach toned base with a bit if peachy shimmer I believe.

Then, I discovered how to get that deeply curved smile line I've been wanting!  Hole reinforcements as french tip guides!  I LOVE a more curved smile line, and the typical french guides are just too straight across for my taste.  I'll show you guys how great it looks soon, since it's hard to see on this mani.

I painted the tips with 1 coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in whirlwind White, followed by 1 coat of Diamond Cosmetics "Diamond's Diamonds".

Then I broke out the Konad and stamped the rose design from M36 using China Glaze "Harmony", along the smile line.

That's it for today my wonderful readers!

I hope you have a marvelous day!

V-Day manis! Day 2: Girly, and Pink and Hearts, Oh My! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZ!!!

Good Morning (again) Lovelies!

See I told ya you'd get your V-day mani post!

BUT FIRST...  It's Liz aka Isomatic's Nails Birthday!!!  So HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZ!!!!
If you aren't familiar with her, RUN over to her blog, this girl is RIDICULOUSLY talented!
And that is an understatement!!!

Today's mani I did this weekend in a string of "do-the-mani-take-a-picture-and-take-it-off".  Sad thing was, after I did the mani I am currently sporting, I wished I had left this one on, it was CUTE!

I started with 2 coats of Color Club "She's So Glam" from the Rebel Debutante collection they sent me.
Then I applied French Tip guides and painted on a darker pink franken I made by mixing 1/2 a bottle of China Glaze "Rich & Famous" with about 1/8 Sinful Colors "Dream On", on the tips.

I then stamped on the cute, tiny heart tip pattern on M56, using Special Polish in White.

The tips were more purplish pink than it showing, but you get the idea!
Please excuse the terrible stamping!  My Konad stamper randomly decided it wasn't gonna transfer images to my nail that evening.  It would pick up great, but I'd roll it over my nail, and it would stay stuck to the stamper.  It took me buffing it 4 times then cleaning it off well with remover to get it to work half way decently!

For all you readers who do NOT have a Konad...you can still do a very similar design.  The easiest way, I think, to make hearts on the nail is to dot on two dots just touching.  Then using something very thin, like a needle or toothpick, drag the polish from the outer sides of the polish dots down to form a point, like so:

Please excuse the lame "Paint" drawning.
Does that make sense?  It sounds more complicated than it is!
And of course you will do a better job then I did in Paint!  LOL

That's all for today my Lovely Readers!

I hope you have a great day!!!

V-Day manis! Day 1: Thigh High Fishnets

Good Morning Lovelies!

This week and next I will be doing all Valentine's Day inspired Manis!

Today's mani was intended to just look pretty and lacy, but once I got it on, it reminded me of Thigh Highs, Fishnet Thigh Highs!  I even did a quick and dirty(really smeary) mani with a nude polish last night to reinforce my thoughts!  But first...The original!

I started out with 2 coats of OPI "Manicurist of Seville", a pretty berryish red.  And yet another color I overlooked but Rob picked up and handed me that wound up looking great with my skin tone.  MAN he's good!

Over that I first applied the lacy design from M57 along the free edge.  Be sure to leave a bit of room above the design, so it's not right up against the edge.  I had to redo a few nails after I noticed it looked better with a little room.  Next I applied the Fishnet design from M57, butting the image up to the underside of the lace design.

And a nude tone base color, to prove my point:

Base is Color Club "Best Dressed List" from their Rebel Debutante Collection,
Which I just received for review!  Review to come shortly!  They ROCK!!!
I was in a hurry to get this done and didn't wait long enough for the Konad image to dry,
so it streaked, SORRY!  But at least you get the idea!

Well, that's all for today my wonderful readers!

I hope you have a fantastic day!
