Cruisin' Ocean City Finale: The Outfits and Fav Places!

Good Afternoon Lovelies!

Today I'll be wrapping up my coverage (lol) of Cruisin' Ocean City.

First I'll share with ya what I wore.  I know many of you probably don't care at all, but for those who are interested, I figured I'd share.  It's kinda fun to branch out and cover different things than I normally do.

Thursday
Sorry for the craptastic mirror shot!
I learned my lesson and had Rob take them the rest of the time.
Sad that you cant see the flower in my hair!  It's outer petals are Leopard and the inner petals are Red.
Got it at Hot Topic.
The shirt came from Frederick's of Hollywood.
And got the shoe-stringless Chuck knock offs at Kohls.
Also sporting my RatRod belt buckle, but it didn't show up in the pics:(

Friday
I changed MULTIPLE times this day so here's how it went down
Since we were gonna run out to breakfast, I got half dressed in that days outfit, didn't do the hair or the lipstick, threw on jeans and went to EAT!

Came back and changed into this:
WOW was this outfit a HUGE hit!
I was asked, for the first time in my life, to pose with peoples cars so they could have a pic of me with their car!  I also had multiple people take pics of me on the sly (Rob caught them, lol) and take pics while I was posing with a car for Rob, LOL.  Talk about embarrassing and overwhelming at the same time!  I'm not used to getting attention like that.  I don't ever get noticed!
The older guys got such a kick out of it!  That made me happy!  One guy even wanted his pic with me and his car!  Then gave me a kiss on the cheek! :)
I love that doing something I enjoy, like dressing retro, makes others happy too!

Here's a few pics for that day for ya:
Best pose of the day, with the worst car! lol
It's one of Rob's buddies car, which is why he took a pic of me with it!
Why does it always happen that way!

How cute is that car?!?!
It's a BMW!
The front opens and that's how you get in!

Later that day we went to Hall's, a seafood buffet place for dinner (LOVE IT) and I KNEW I'd get crab juice all over my skirt, so I changed into this:
Shoulda put the belt back on!

Saturday
Uh, yeah, stupid momment...forgot to take an outfit pic! LOL
But here's one with my DREAM car!
Yes, my legs look shortened...no, I dont know why! LOL

Now...On to the places we like to go!
After reading Amanda's comment on yesterday's post, I REALLY wanna try TC Diner!  I LOVE diners!!!

For Breakfast we go to:
We ALWAYS love it here, but this time the food wasn't quite as good as normal, odd!
I'll definitely be checking out that diner in October!  Thanks Amanda!

For lunch, and dinner (sometime on the same day, yes it's that good) we go here:
didn't get a day pic, sorry!
Fat Daddy's!  They have a location right off the boardwalk and around 82nd st (I think)
They're food is consistently AWESOME!
AND, I am a lemonade FREAK..they make their own, with real hand squeezed lemons, Sugar (not syrup!) and water and ice!  It is mixed when you order it!  and it is paradise in a cup!  AND now I'm drooling just thinking about it!
Rob ALWAYS gets the Cheesesteak sub!  But everything ROCKS!  great Onion Rings too!
With sandwich names like "Dirt Burger", "Jumanji", "Funky Gump" and the "Gringo Gusto" how can you resist!

Now....are you ready for the best place EVER?
Seriously, sometimes we go here twice a day!
Why you may ask....
Strawberry Shortcake with Home-made Icecream!
I ALWAYS get this!

I can't remember this one, but Rob usually gets this!  Caramel and Hot Fudge sundae!

Seriously, If you like ice cream at all...go here!

And Now I am STARVING!!!

That's it for today and for the Cruise In!

Hope I didn't bore you all to tears!

I'll be back tomorrow with a Mani for ya!

Have a great day!

So cute!! I used to be 'in the rockabilly car club scene.' These pictures sooo bring me back! We just got our 64 Chevy back from the shop. We are going to start showing it soon. I can't wait to get back into the car scene!

Is the red top with white dots from fredericks too? I've had those shirts in my online cart 1.6 million times. I think your pics made me want to actually get them!

YUMMMM!!! I just started a hardcore fitness/diet plan (well a month ago) The food pics should come with a warning. I tried to bite my computer screen! :)

Oh man...those last pictures were really mouthwatering ^_^
I can understand why that outfit with the pink skirt got you so much attention, you really looked lovely in it :)

OMG YOU HAVE THE BEST STYLE!!!

I'm a polka dot addict, so I'm totally drooling over your collection of polka dot shirts right now - and love the leopard print too! But the best outfit is, hands down, the retro poodle skirt. Sending this to my mom ASAP! When I was younger, she dressed me as a Poodle Girl for Halloween year after year (you have no idea how many poodle skirts I have). The red one was always my favorite - and I wore it with these vintage black and white shoes we picked up at the thrift store. I just adore your hot pink poodle skirt - and with the polka dots too!! so insanely cute. I'm not surprised everyone wanted your picture!!! You look too, too cute :)

Thanks for sharing - and yay for The Dough Roller and Dumsers - LOVE those places!!!

Cool Thanks! I just ordered the leopard print one. I always wanted it but just hated not seeing it "in person" LOL! Thanks for being my model.

PS. It's on clearance and an extra 25% off! Woot!

Love it wasn't the outfit, they just wanted pictures of the hot chick!
You look amazing and what a fun time!

Oh man, those last pictures are making me drool, I'm starving now - especially the homemade ice cream part. There was a place in downtown Raleigh that did homemade ice cream AND hot fudge - it was to die for, you could actually taste the butter in the hot fudge, haha, SO GOOD. They closed it down, sadly. I crave the good stuff all the time now!
But you! Your outfits all rock, I love them! I know why everyone wanted your picture with their cars, that is TOO awesome! Everything is perfect on it, down to the adorable socks, and your makeup so cute and really pops.

yay!! i hope you like TC's, it's one of those big fabulous indulgent diner breakfasts with hashbrowns and toast and scrapple for the brave (i'm not brave enough for it). it's off the strip, over ocean gateway past hoopers on the left, across from the outlets. kind of hidden next to starbucks. only been to doughroller once, just for dinner. dumsers is a classic, gotta go there every year too! you're making me long for ocean city so bad, lol! you look great in all the pics, i'm jealous of your great outfits.

Yay! Outfit photos! I love those. Especially yours, 'cause you have a special style and it's always interesting to see your combinations. =)
I love your thursay (first) outfit, but the one with pink poodle skirt is a pure winner. =) Rob did a great job buying you this gorgeous piece of art. And honey, you're mistaken if you think people wanted you to post because of outfit only. You're GORGEOUS!!! I really like the way you wear your hair/your hair cut. And the make up + tattoos...you're a piece of art yourself. =D
I don't know much about cars, but I love that tiny BMW - was Steve Urkel there too? XD
Your dream car is amazing, I love it! You certainly have a great taste. =)

P.S. I don't want to talk about the food part. I'm on diet and I surely didn't appreciate your yummy photos at the moment. ;)
