Mixed Feelings

Good Morning Lovelies!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!  Mine was kind of a roller coaster of emotions!
I got to hang out almost all day Saturday with my Sister and Mom, which was AWESOME!  I absolutely LOVE being able to spend the day with them!
But, Rob was sick all weekend!
And I got a bunch of konadicures done yesterday so now I have all sorts of stuff to show ya!
But, I'm getting ready to head to the dentist at 10am this morning because I can't bite down on anything!  The same tooth on both sides of my mouth just screams at me when I bite down on ANYTHING!  From what I've gathered after a brief search online, this is usually a fractured tooth.  Sometimes they can be bonded, other times, a root canal is required.  I really need this to be soemthing easily and cheaply fixed!  I dont have the funds to have to pay a big bill, so I've been crying off and on all morning, tryin to decide if I can live off soup for the next few months.
***UPDATE:  just got back, Doc thinks it's stress related clenching and biting that's irritating the ligament around the teeth, so now i get to wear a goofy mouth guard at night, SEXY!  LOL  Hopefully this will fix it, just not looking forward to having to wait for 2 weeks to see!***

Saturday before I headed to Mom's I ran over to Michelle's so I could shape up her nails a bit better and give her a new Konadicure.
They still aren't as thin as I'd like, but I'd rather them be a touch thick and her still have her cuticles and the sides of her fingers intact!
After the shaping job, we began the task of picking out what she wanted!  Yes, this is a task!  LOL!  Michelle is like me, there's just so many options, I can't pick!!!

She picked out China Glaze "Secret Periwinkle".  It took 2 coats to get that nice and opaque and even.

Then we broke out M70 and added that using Special Polish in Black.

Well, that's all I have for today.  I'm off to pray for a cheap dentist bill.

Hope everyone has a great day!

It's nice to hear that you spent some time with your mother and sister. Sorry to hear about Rob being sick, though. And I really hope you'll manage to find the right (and cheap) solution for your teeth. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
And that konadicure is just perfect. I love it! Now I think I need Secret Periwinkle AND M70. Not good... :)))
Hugs & kisses

I LOVED having my 2 favorite people in the whole wide world spend the day with me Saturday!!! But I was sad that Rob was sick and wasn't able to be here too :-( 'Cause he's one of my top 3 favorite people!
I love you so much sweetie! Thanks for letting me be mom and take you to the dentist.

Sorry to hear about the dental stuff. Just had a root canal myself and let's just say I could have paid my mortgage with what i had to give them and I still need a crown. UGH! Even more money. This is why people walk around with jacked up teeth. LOL

Anyway that konadicure is hot. I just pulled out my M70 looking for the right color combo. Still looking!

Yay for spending time with the family. Sorry Rob isn't feeling well, you make sure to not get sick too.

The mouth guard is better than a root canal, I hope it works for you!

I love that Konad, its so perfect!

I know your pain. I wear a mouth guard and can't do without it. I keep a lot of stress in my jaw. I also clench and grind my teeth in my sleep. I've been wearing a guard for years. I need to go back and get a new one. I haven't been to a dentist in 6 or so years. I clench my whole body when I go there! Not my favorite place to go. Hope Rob is feeling better. Glad you didn't have fractured teeth. I imagine that would have cost plenty to fix. Feel better in your mouth!(((hugs)))

Good to hear that at least part of your weekend was good! Hope Rob gets better soon though (if he isn't already).

I have one of those night-time mouthguard doohickeys, too...stress-related tooth grinding (to the point I started boring holes in my teeth). My mouthguard ran me $350-400 (Canadian), so hopefully yours is cheaper than that...
