Before I even begin to think about the mani I'm showing you today, I just wanna let you guys know..
I'M SORRY!!!! I know, I know, when on earth am I gonna get off my tush and do my giveaway?!?!?!
I assessed my stash and It is better than I thought, SOOOOOO....Friday (i hope) I will be starting my giveaway, so keep your eyes peeled!!! eww, where did that saying come from anyway...it's kinda gross!
Moving on...
Today's mani is asian inspired.
I wanted to start with a red base, so what more appropriate color to use than China Glaze "China Rogue", 2 coats here!
Then I added a pattern from M62, using Wet and Wild "Black Creme". I actually had a hard time getting the image to transfer properly, the W&W seems to not work for me consistently. So where I had issues I just went back in with my Stripe Rite in Black to fix it up. This design reminds me of Daniel's head band from Karate Kid! I LOVED that movie when I was younger!!!!
I wanted to show this to you with just the tip image, because I think it looks great just like that. But, as always, if some is good, more is better!!!!
Then I went in and stamped the center image from S06 using China Glaze "Passion" in the open space near the bottom of the nail.. Something to keep in mind when using this image is that the design can be rotated so the lines that separate the image into 4ths are either in an x or in a +. Look closely at the image below and you will see what I mean. To me it has a completely different look depending on how it is placed.
See, look at the difference in the ring finger and the index finger!
Well Ladies, that's all for today!
I hope you all have a fantastic day!

oh this image design is very tricky...
Awesome mani!
I think the head band your refering to is The Rising Sun, the japanese military flag ;).
Your konad mani's are awesome, I could sit all day looking at ur pic's =).
I simply love this.
very nice!
Love it!!!!
huh, love the karate kid and your mani too:)
wax on... wax off... I love this! :)
Gorgeous mani! The first one, without the silver pattern reminds me of a car race in the desert. Don't ask me why. :) I like it with the silver pattern as well. You did an awesome job! Again. :)
Ooo! That is lovely, I love the colors that you chose, and the inspiration of course!
This is beautiful! How do always have them all lined up so perfectly!?!
I just wondered, if you stamped that black tip again, in trying to make a circle, if it would look like swirly mint candy if you did it over a white base and used red as a stamp . . . hmmmmm!
Your mani looks great! I love the combo of red. black and gold.
I looked it up...This one dates in print from 1853 in the U.S. It is simply a figurative use of peeled, suggesting that the eyelids are "rind" for the eyes, and to "peel" that rind is to have the eyes open. The 1853 quotation comes from the Daily Morning Herald of St. Louis, Missouri: "Young man! Keep your eye peeled when you are after the women."
This is so lovely: I rarely see a red nail and wish to copy it (reds mostly don't suit me) but with the gold and black, this is beautiful. Thank you! :)
I've been watching your blog for a couple of months. I love your work. I am a professional nail tech in the mountains of Northern Arizona. I am trying to figure out how I can use my konad stuff for nail art on my clients. Can you comment on your thoughts about that? Is there an easier way to "fix" a mess up other than starting over and removing all polish? I have an hour, hour and a half max w/ each client. Do you stamp over top coat? Why does konad special polish in black bleed so badly? Any solutions? Thanks & sorry for the long comment I wasn't sure how else to pick your brain. I appreciate any advice you might have. Lori
Very Japanese inspired manicure. Love the color combinations. Very beautiful! You have such a wonderful eye for design and color. Amazing and lovely!!!
Love it!!! That's a gorgeous mani.
